Learning Is More Important Than Implementations In Organic Farming

Before I begin my blog, I'd like to offer a little overview of my organic farming experience so that you can relate to and comprehend the message I'm trying to express through this medium. After completing my Masters in Environment and Development from Ambedkar University, I decided to pursue a career in organic farming since I was interested in business. I wish to expand my traditional Natural farming business. So I jumped straight around since my aim was obvious, and I was also fortunate in that I had grown up under the mentorship of a great environmentalist, Mr. O.P Dabas ( My Father ) who has 30+ years of expertise in the domain of organic farming and agroforestry .

I expected I'd have a bunch of problems on the road to Organic Farming because I didn't know much about the business side of it, but I had a strong will to do something in the field of sustainability and my father has been my biggest supporter from the beginning. Even now, after 6+ years of hands-on experience, I like sitting with him and talking about Natural and traditional Farming, Horticulture, Permaculture, Vermicomposting, dairy farming and other topics. It's a never-ending and fascinating subject to debate. Organic farming is a large topic that requires a lot of knowledge in order to succeed.

After starting Organic Acre My Brother (Mr. Mrinal Dabas) joined me and took command of taking our products to the masses and we overcame several challenges in creating Organic Acre, the Best Organic Farming Institute  and Organic Products supplier in Delhi NCR, but we persevered under my Father's leadership. I owe him everything. I'd like to offer a statement that I remember from talking with my father and it makes the conversation more interesting for me - “Guru Bina Gyan Nahi Guru Bina Maan Nahi Guru Bina Raah Nahi Guru Bina Saah Nahi”

There are plenty of Organic Farming Mentors who have launched their courses in your surroundings and who also promise to deliver a good quality education or mentorship but do not have the practical experience in the field of Natural Farming.

Key Takeaways

I'd like to share a favourite quotation with you: "We Must Learn To Walk Before We Can Run." Take small steps toward excellence. Before establishing an Organic Farm, we must understand how to minimize flaws, investments, and resources. It is preferable to have a strategy/business plan rather than simply entering the sector blindly. Choose the best mentor to guide you, someone who has walked the route before you, and set the benchmark. Search for his classes if he makes them available, or choose the best one from the list I provided above. Begin with a small piece of land (1 acre or less). Learn about the science and aspects of Organic Farming, Sustainability, Ecological Balance, Environment etc. Understand the Organic Farming Chronology and keep going; you'll get there eventually.
